Mr World 2007 contestants took to the catwalk in a dazzling display of beach style and local colour at a gala fashion show beside the South China Sea.

Adding a personal touch to this unique show, the contestants first appeared on the stage in their own summer beach wear. Some wore colourful t-shirts and shorts, while India represented his country in a sarong, and Costa Rica chose to customise his look with a necklace of black feathers.

The next time on the catwalk they drew applause from the local audience for modelling the colourful and traditional Hawaiian shirts and shorts. They paraded to a Latin and Chinese backing track, creating a sense of sunshine as the evening drew in.
