Mr World 2010 will be held in the beautiful country of Korea. Neighboured by China in the west and Japan in the east, the country stands highlighted in the map of East Asia as one of the most advanced countries of the world.

The Korean flag is called "Taegeukgi" and it symbolizes the principles of the yin and yang in Oriental philosophy. The two forces together embody continual movement, balance and harmony that characterize the sphere of infinity.

The population of the Republic of Korea stands at 49,024,737. In terms of density, there are roughly 480 people per square kilometer.










Korean history, which in turn referred to the ancient kingdom of Goguryeo. Merchants of the Middle East called it Cauli, which then came to be spelled Corea and Korea.

Incheon City

Just 28km from Seoul, Korea’s capital, Incheon has a population of 2.7 million people. The city boasts many attractions on its dramatic landscape including magnificent temples, picturesque beaches, towering mountains and beautiful, secluded islands.

In the late nineteenth century it became a centre for Korea’s modernization. With the signing of trade treaties, first with the US in 1882, then with other world powers of the time, Incheon became Korea’s primary gateway with the outside world. The country’s first train and telephone services were located in Incheon as well.
