The three Elements of the 2016 Multimedia Challenge
There are FIVE Challenge Events at Mr World, and one has already started... Multimedia.
The Multimedia Challenge Event is heavily focused on the contestant’s social media skills, but also encompasses photography, videography, writing and editing. The judges will also look specifically at a video produced by each of the four teams, created during their time at Mr World.
In all, THREE separate elements make up the Multimedia Challenge Event; Social Media, MobStar and a Team Video!
1 – Social Media
Mr World is an experience of a life time, but every contestant has a unique time here, and we want them to share it with the world. We want to see how they handle themselves in the world of social media, arguable one of the most important aspects of the modern world. To be Mr World, you have to be able to navigate the often perilous world that is Facebook. They will be marked on a variety of aspects, including style, presentation, interactivity and inventiveness in posts.
The contestants have all been provided with their official Facebook pages – CLICK HERE to see a gallery of contestants, with links to each of their pages. Alternatively, you can find these links on their contestant pages.
2 – MobStar
Utilising all the features of this new and exciting mobile application, the contestants must generate as much interest as possible. This is an interactive part of the competition where YOU can get involved. Simply download the FREE MobStar App, and check out the fun posts that the contestants are posting.
If you like their content, LET THEM KNOW!
If you don’t like their content, LET THEM KNOW!
Whoever is the highest placed contestant in the ‘Fan Connect’ leaderboard wins!
3 – Team Video Presentation
The green team produced a great video last year, where the task was more open, to simply create a video about your team.
We know our contestants look good on camera, we want to see how well they can handle the cameras too! Together in their four teams, we want them to plan, script, direct, film and edit their own instructional fitness video. Delegating roles they have to create a fantastic short film providing helpful tuition on how to keep fit and stay fit!
