Introducing…Nepal!
Akshay Rayamajhi took over the Mr World Nepal reign from Ganesh Agrawal on Saturday 3rd June 2017. Dhurba Budhathoki and Aashish Tamrakar were announced First and Second Runner Up, respectively. Twenty-eight contestants participated in the competition, which was broadcast live on the Image channel. 997 News Network speak highly of the contest, stating that they are “encouraging youth talents and inspiring them to be socially responsible citizens.”
The contestants competed in preliminary events including swimming, mountain climbing and marathon running. Akshay won the preliminary Mr Congeniality award, which garnered him a good number of points for the final.
Akshay is a twenty two year old Business Administration student from Baneshwor. Furthermore, he is a part owner of Baneshwor Gym - A Complete Health Club. Keeping fit is an important part of Akshay’s lifestyle. He is also a football fan who avidly supports Real Madrid FC.
