Jack explains how he got involved with Drum for the NHS,

"I follow quite a few drummers on Instagram. When I saw Errol Kennedy put out a plea for drummers to help raise funds for the NHS, of course I jumped at it. After speaking to him, I found out that if we actually managed to complete the five-day challenge it would break a world record, which I would love to be a part of. I decided to do a night shift because, as we are all aware, our front-liners are having to work 12-hour shifts and many through the night. I'm happy to be able to pay tribute to them."

The Drum For the NHS team comprises of organiser, Errol Kennedy who was a member of the 1980s soul and funk band Imagination. They are joined by fellow professional drummers Paul Stewart, Jose Joyette, Vince Dunn, Terl Bryant, Vincenzo Infusino, Meg Learmonth, Mel Gaynor, Loz Colbert, Mairi Newberry and Tim Reynolds, who have played with renowned music artists such as Craig David, Supergrass and Stevie Wonder to name a few.

Jack won second place in the Mr World 2019 talent contest for his drumming piece. This was part of the attributes that led him to defeat 71 contestants, from around the globe, to win the Mr World title.
