Mr. World Sri Lanka 2024
Actor and director Megha Sooriyaarachchi was recently elected Mr. World Sri Lanka 2024 in an event held at the Hilton Colombo, in Sri Lanka´s capital city.
The 1st runner-up was Isanka Amarasinghe, while the 2nd runner-up was Chethan Abhishek.
Upon winning the Sri Lankan national title and firmly believing in the power of education, Megha wrote on his social media account: “I want to thank all the teachers I’ve met throughout my journey for making me the intellectually layered person I am today”.
He was elected the same night Anudi Gunasekara was crowned Miss World Sri Lanka.
The 2024 Mr. World Festival will be hosted by Vietnam from November 5th to the 23rd. The final event will happen in the city of Phan Thiet.
